Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions to Shadowin(the “Service”). The Service offers two payment methods, each with a different legal arrangement:

Card payments are processed by Gumroad, Inc.(“Gumroad”), which acts as Merchant of Record. Card refunds are issued by Gumroad on our approval and are subject to Gumroad's payment processing timelines.

Crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments as a payment service provider for an invoice issued by Andrii Donich as the legal seller. Crypto refunds are issued by us directly.

The eligibility rules below apply to both methods.

1. 14-day money-back guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers, subject to the conditions in this section.

You are eligible for a full refund of your most recent subscription payment if all of the following are true:

(1) the refund request is submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days of the original purchase or most recent renewal payment; (2) you have not accessed or used any premium content or premium features since the payment was made — this includes, without limitation: generating any AI-personalized focus sessions, generating any AI-produced lessons, consuming any premium-tier daily quota (sync, generate, or focus session), or modifying premium-only profile settings such as the personalized gem color; (3) the request is not part of a pattern of repeated sign-up, use, and refund cycles, which we treat as abuse and decline at our discretion.

If you have used any premium feature even once during the billing period, no refund will be issued for that period. Continued access to the Service for the remainder of the paid period is your sole remedy.

2. How to request a refund

Send an email to deplazaa@gmail.com from the address associated with your account, with the subject line Refund Request — [Order ID]. Include:

(a) your account email; (b) the order ID — for card payments, your Gumroad order ID from the Gumroad receipt; for crypto payments, the invoice ID from the NOWPayments receipt or the on-chain transaction hash; (c) a brief reason for the request.

We will respond within five (5) business days. Approved card refunds are processed by Gumroad and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer. Crypto refunds are sent to the wallet address you used to pay; on-chain confirmation times depend on the network.

3. Recurring subscriptions and cancellation

Card subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled. Cancelling does not automatically issue a refund — it stops future renewals only. To stop a card renewal, use the cancellation link in any Gumroad receipt email or sign in to Gumroad to manage the subscription.

Crypto invoices are one-off and do not auto-renew. There is nothing to cancel; the premium period simply ends, and you may purchase a new invoice if you wish.

If a card renewal is processed because you forgot to cancel, contact us at deplazaa@gmail.com within fourteen (14) days under Section 1; refund eligibility is judged against the same usage criteria above.

4. Non-refundable items

The following are not eligible for refund under any circumstances:

(1) one-time purchases marked “non-refundable” at checkout; (2) subscription periods more than fourteen (14) days old; (3) accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.

5. Chargebacks

We strongly prefer that you contact us before filing a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate termination of your account and forfeiture of any outstanding service credits, regardless of chargeback outcome.

6. Statutory rights

This policy does not limit any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law in your country of residence (including, where applicable, the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). Where statutory rights conflict with this policy, statutory rights prevail.
